•Making copy of the new data arriving in Cairo and sending the original to Headquarter and copying to the Cairo working environment.
•Loading data to Openworks and Discovery .
•Communicating with the Data Management service group in Headquarter(DMSG).
•Ensuring the Data Management processes and standards are being adhered to for Openworks and Discovery.
•Ensure the data in the library is organized and controlled .
•Control the development and design of the day to day working directory.
•Prepare information package to be send to Partners.
•Receive, review content and quality and storage adequately data received from Partners or third party companies.
•This position includes duties proper of a Filing ,but not limited to, LAS and SEGY import/export, prepare CD or data packages, load/unload information in FTP systems.
Additional requirement:
•Good level in Oracle and other engines .
•Good level in UNIX-SOLARIS and WINDOWS .
•Knowledge of Data Management in Landmark & Schlumberger applications. Specifically Seismic Data loading.
•Knowledge of the data used in the oil industry.
•Knowledge of files formatting in oil industry.
•Knowledge of utilities to manage and convert data or files from one format/system to other.
•Basic knowledge in Geoscience, Fileds, and Operations involved in the exploratory process.
